It has a cold/heat resistance of -4 to 160 degrees Fahrenheit and is resistant to moisture and solvents, making it useful outdoors as well as inside the home. The tape is flexible and leaves no residue when removed from proper surfaces. Because it has a strong acrylic adhesive base, it’s not suitable for delicate surfaces such as wallpaper, painted surfaces, or broken walls. Ī budget-friendly option, this double-sided tape by Phinus works best on smooth surfaces, such as glass, metal, plastic, ceramic tile, and marble.

Gorilla tape offers a wide range of mounting, repairing, and bonding applications. The tape is moisture- and heat-resistant up to 194 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s good for both indoor and outdoor applications and it won’t yellow over time. This mounting tape holds 1 pound per 4 inches of tape. However, because it’s a permanent tape and features a strong adhesive, it’s not recommended for delicate surfaces such as painted drywall. The tape works on a variety of surfaces, including stone, concrete, glass, metal, bricks, tile, plastic, and wood. Gorilla’s double-sided tape is great for projects where traditional fasteners won’t work.

I just started at the bottom, about six inches over, and cut a straight line diagonally. I decided to have my chin spoiler "fade in" as you can see by the picture. Then decide how you want the egde to look. Once your at the end of the bumper cut off the excess foot, but leave about an inch. You will get the hang of it after a while.

Almost the entire bumper is a curve so make sure every time that the edges are flush against eachother! Take an inch of the Rubber material and push it hard against the tape and rub for approximately 10 seconds FOR EVERY INCH. ONLY DO THIS AN INCH AT A TIME! It is very tedious and slow but you will regret it if you try to fast. You want to place the side of the seal that is flat against the tape. Leave about an inch of extra rubber door seal on the end. After taking off the second layer of tape, begin on the drivers side. Dont peel off the second side of the tape untill all the tape is down and you are ready to begin putting the chin on. You want to have it sitting back about 1-2mm from the edge. Take the double sided tape, and start taping underneath the bumper. I just took a rag with some water and wiped it down.
